The goal of the research project Lifecycle Intelligence of Networked Environments (LINE) has been envisioned as a new comprehensive holistic approach integrating the main aspects of virtual product development processes for future knowledge workers. Lifecycle Intelligence can be described as the know-how which consolidates complex thoughts in order to establish spaces for creative and flexible virtual environments, and, moreover, to use them proficiently for designing innovative products and solutions.
